Bio:

Chelsea McClure is an assistant professor of STEM Education in the School of Education. McClure teaches courses in master’s and undergraduate programs, including: Sustainability for Teachers, Methods of Teaching Science, Social Studies, and Health in Elementary School, Human Development and Learning and Teaching the Digital Generations in a Globalized World. She has published academic journal articles, book chapters and facilitated academic presentations on STEM education, emerging technology, environmental education & environmental literacy topics. She actively facilitates professional learning experiences for pre-service, in-service and higher education faculty as well as hosts the annual state-wide Higher Education Environmental Literacy (HEEL) Summit. McClure was a founding member of the Maryland HEEL fellowship program and serves on the MSDE Maryland Outdoor Learning Partnership (OLP) in the environmental and climate literacy working group.
