Dr. Goble has been a Physician Assistant since 1987, having practiced Emergency Medicine for sixteen years, with an additional eleven years as a senior leader within the hospital and healthcare industry, prior to transitioning into Physician Assistant education in 2012. He has remained in the graduate medical education sector for the last eleven years, holding the position of Chair and Program Director within ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant educational programs.

Dr. Goble completed his Physician Assistant education through the (former) Essex Community College Physician Assistant Program. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, a Master of Healthcare Administration through Penn State University, and a Doctor of Medical Science degree through the University of Lynchburg. In 2007, Dr. Goble received an examiner’s commission from the United States Secretary of Commerce for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Program. In 2020, Dr. Goble’s scholarly research led to the publication of his contribution to PA leadership: “Does Possessing a Graduate Degree in a Leadership Discipline Enhance Performance as a Healthcare Leader? Implications for Physician Assistants.”      

Dr. Goble is the father of four daughters and is very proud of his four grandchildren, Ryder, Lincoln, Hayley, and Reese. He is happily married to a wonderful woman. Additionally, Dr. Goble enjoys fly fishing, is an upland game and waterfowl hunter, and holds a private pilot certification.
