Meet representatives from the Departments & Offices on campus where you want to gain experience at our Hire NDMYou Fair! 

The event will also feature Career Readiness tools such as on-site professional Headshots for LinkedIn & Handshake, gamified skills learning, Virtual Reality practice, on the spot interviewing, and more! All work study and on campus opportunities will be listed on Handshake. Professional dress is not required for this event, however, you should come prepared if you want a headshot.

The new Notre Dame of Maryland retirement plan contract with TIAA has been open since January 2017ALL retirement plan contributions will continue to go into the new TIAA contract.

If you haven’t already, now is a great time to be sure you understand all of the options available and how you can best take advantage of them!

Group Sessions

There will be two group sessions recapping the changes that have taken place and all of the choices available

  • Tuesday, September 19th at 2:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, September 20th at 10:00 a.m.

Options to Consider

  • Use the new professionally selected investment menu
  • Move money from your old contract to the new contract
  • Professional fee-based asset management for your retirement account(s)
  • Confirm your beneficiary designations

  • Reviewing any questions pertaining to the NDMU retirement plan
  • Going through Millennium’s financial planning process offered to all employees
  • Reviewing and updating a financial plan that has previously been created for you
  • Retaining Millennium for professional fee-based asset management of their retirement plan account(s)

Millennium Advisory Services is a registered investment advisory firm that specializes in working with higher education institutions and their employees, providing education and advice services to retirement plan participants.  In keeping with Department of Labor regulations and best practices, NDMU has retained Millennium to provide these services to our employees.

All NDMU employees are offered the opportunity to meet privately with an advisor to go through Millennium’s financial planning process and receive a personalized financial plan. This goal-based financial planning process is intended to help provide guidance on issues such as how much you should be saving for retirement, how your retirement account should be invested, and whether you are on track to reach your personal retirement goals.  Spouses/significant others are encouraged to participate as well.
