2021 Fall Open House

Bonjour! As you may have noticed, we pronounce “Notre Dame” the French way, not “noter dayme” like that other university. It all goes back to our founding by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, who established the College of Notre Dame of Maryland in 1895. Fun fact? CNDM was the first Catholic college for women in the US to award a four-year baccalaureate degree.

Where are we, exactly? NDMU is located on a beautiful 60-acre wooded campus in the northern Baltimore residential neighborhood of Homeland. Here’s everything you need to know about where to stay and how to get here, as well as our campus map and parking info.

They don’t call it Charm City for nothing. There is a ton of fun stuff to explore in Baltimore, from world-famous crab houses to an eclectic mix of museums and galleries to major sporting events and more. Check out our Baltimore page for things to do while you’re here.
