School of Education Shares Research on National Stage at AERA Conference

Thirteen Faculty, Alumnae and Students Represent NDMU at Largest Gathering of Educational Researchers in the World

BALTIMORE – Notre Dame of Maryland’s School of Education was featured at the 2022 American Educational Research Association’s annual meeting, which was held virtually and on-site in San Diego from April 21-26.

Thirteen faculty, alumnae and students presented research on a variety of topics during the six-day renowned conference, which typically features over 2,600 sessions and 15,000 attendees. The theme for this year’s event was “Cultivating Equitable Education Systems for the 21st Century.”

The AERA is the largest national interdisciplinary research association devoted to the scientific study of education and learning. The organization has over 25,000 members, and its annual meeting is designed to showcase research efforts from across the educational spectrum.
