NDMU is going beyond to deliver on our mission to educate leaders to transform the world. I am so grateful to our NDMU students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends for how you have stepped up in big and small ways to provide much needed support to our students from Baltimore, Maryland, and beyond.

President Yam headshotGo BeyoND: The Campaign for NDMU is our commitment to educate the world’s change makers and take the University to new heights. We need your support to go beyond expectations and inspire our students and graduates to make a difference locally and globally. When you join the campaign, you are investing in the future of NDMU and our ability to do more.

Over this past year, the University launched a five-year strategic plan entitled, Going Beyond: Vision 2025. In it, we outline five strategic goals that continue to provide a framework for how the University will continue to meet the needs of our students and the community through 2025. The stories shared in this year’s Universitas demonstrate the resilience of the NDMU community to successfully navigate the pandemic, while at the same time advancing the University forward with new academic programs, record fundraising, an enhanced technological infrastructure, and strong fiscal stewardship. Additionally, I am very proud of faculty and students in the School of Pharmacy who hosted campus COVID vaccination clinics and fully vaccinated nearly 4,000 Marylanders.

Because of your generosity and historic gifts, the University also enjoyed a second-straight year in record fundraising with $17.5 million raised in fiscal year 2021, up from $17.2 million in the previous fiscal year. We are proud to share profiles of our dedicated alumnae donors whose giving continues to advance our thriving University and the students we serve.

Your support of Go BeyoND: The Campaign for NDMU is important now more than ever. Together, we can do even more to secure our future as a world-class university that prepares the next generation of leaders.
