Art portfolios are required for admission into the Art Education, Photography, and Studio Art programs and are also used to determine recipients of the Art Scholarship awards. Students interested in Art History or Pre-Museum Studies are encouraged to submit a writing sample.

Your portfolio should consist of 10-15 pieces of your best original work of any type or medium, regardless of the intended area of emphasis.

How to Submit

  1. Apply to Undergraduate Studies.
  2. Review requirements & send in your portfolio. (See information below.)

You may also arrange an in person or remote portfolio review by contacting Geoff Delanoy, Chair of the Art Department at gdelanoy@ndm.edu

Art Minors

If you are interested in pursuing an art minor, you are encouraged to submit a portfolio (Art Education, Photography, or Studio Art) or a writing sample (Art History or Pre-Museum Studies) to be considered for the art scholarship competition.
