The Master of Arts in Leadership and Management is a multidisciplinary program that grounds effective business practices in a liberal arts foundation covering the science and art of leadership and management. Our curriculum prepares leaders to master challenges and to effect change through discernment and ethics.

Student Learning Outcomes

After completing the program, you will be able to:

  1. Create holistic, systems-thinking approaches grounded in leadership and business principles
    1. Evaluate the impact of leader behaviors and management decisions on followers and on organizations by applying foundational theories and using multiple frames of reference.
    2. Use of financial information to make business decisions employing multiple techniques employing a variety of techniques.
    3. Interpret economic policies, cycles, interdependencies, and interactions on organizational outcomes
  2. Respond to situations through, ethical, socially responsible, well-reasoned action and communications that reflect critical thinking

Research Opportunities

As part of the master’s capstone course, you will research, prepare, and analyze original cases.

Cases may be presented at one of several conferences and published in co-authorship with professors through Society for Case Research conferences and scholarly journals.
