Notre Dame of Maryland University, School of Nursing will host a Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation review virtual site visit from March 2 to 4, 2022.

Prior to the accreditation visit, schools of nursing are required to provide an opportunity for communities of interest (e.g., students, healthcare partners, faculty, employers, etc.) to provide third party comments about our program, students, and graduates directly to CCNE.

Written and signed third-party comments related to the program’s compliance with the accreditation standards must be received by CCNE by February 9, 2022. All third-party comments submitted to CCNE must be written in English, consistent with CCNE's policy on Conduct of Business in English. Any and all comments submitted to CCNE in a language other than English will not be processed.

CCNE shares third-party comments with the evaluation team prior to the on-site evaluation, but at no time during the review process are these comments shared with the program, the Accreditation Review Committee, or the Board.  During its review of the program, the evaluation team considers third-party comments, if any, that relate to the accreditation standards. Any specific signed third-party comments relating to the accreditation process should be directed to the CCNE home office at the address or directly via email as listed below:
