Mission & Ministry
As a Catholic university inspired by the SSND charism, NDMU is strengthened by the pluralism of our community’s religious, secular, and spiritual traditions and backgrounds.
Together with the President’s Office, the work of Mission accompanies the NDMU community in integrating the University’s mission throughout our community’s lived experience, grounded in social responsibility and social justice.
The work of Ministry accompanies all students in becoming their fullest selves, exploring what they believe, and seeking the work of justice in the world. Part of the Division of Student Life, our office facilitates community and opportunities that support students’ holistic development.
Together, we continue to build a community that celebrates the experiences, education and development of every member of the NDMU community, inclusive of all racial, religious, sexual and gender identities.
