Utilize your creativity while serving others, crafting items such as bookmarks, buttons, and postcards to address identified needs on campus and in the greater Baltimore community. Participants also will receive MobileServe training, as well as an introduction to social issues which will be explored further through the service-learning component of NDMU 100. This is a required event for all new NDMU students.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging at NDMU

In this fast paced, interactive session, we will explore diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging and why this is important to NDMU. Participants will also be encouraged to think about what they can do to support an inclusive environment where all feel a sense of belonging and connection.

All Women’s College students will welcome new students during this event that is grounded in NDMU tradition.

All NDMU students are invited to enjoy a free outdoor cookout as part of Orientation Weekend!

All Women’s College students are required to attend this program, where they will meet with fellow members of their class and set intentions for themselves as they reflect on their NDMU experience.

Returning students move into their residence halls and prepare for the 2022-23 academic year.

NDMU’s New Master’s Offerings Set to Meet Rising National Demand for Nurse Practitioners


BALTIMORE – The demand for nurse practitioners in the United States has increased dramatically in recent years, and that trend is only expected to grow stronger over the next decade. The U.S. Department of Labor projects overall employment for nurse practitioners to grow by 52 percent from 2020 to 2030, a figure which leads all healthcare professions and ranks fourth overall out of 790 occupations examined by the DOL.
