BALTIMORE – A pair of faculty members from the Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Khon Kaen (BCNKK) recently spent a week visiting Notre Dame of Maryland University and representatives from Notre Dame’s School of Nursing, strengthening a long-term partnership which was formally established in June 2023.

Four teams (of up to 4) will play a simple custom-made board game "Gator Gauntlet" in which the first team to get to the end wins a prize. However, the board will have some spaces that trigger "mini-games" in which the teams must play a game from Gator Alley (i.e. foosball, connect four, or pool; or a game from the website AirConsole) or answer a trivia question (about NDMU campus or an NDMU organization) to gain an advantage. There will also be an opportunity for an audience to participate in some cases.

At this event, individuals and/or student organizations can represent their respective cultures through food, clothing, and other customs they wish to showcase to the NDMU community. The celebration will allow you to table through information booths in LeClerc Lobby, and/or participate in the “What Empowers You” fashion show in LeClerc Theatre, where each culture can be represented by showing off their traditional attire.

All YES Members have a free crafting space to make buttons, pins, bookmarks, or other themed crafts for our partners at Govans Elementary and Tunbridge Public Charter School. This is also an open space to share ideas and brainstorm on future projects for the program.
