BALTIMORE – Notre Dame of Maryland University and Mount St. Mary’s University are partnering to address the critical nursing shortage in the state and nationwide by making it easier for students at the Mount to enroll in NDMU’s fast-track Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

This event will feature a book talk of recent publication, Your Brain on Art, followed by a discussion between Susan Magsamen (author), Patti Prugh (art therapist) and Alicia Barksdale (music therapist) discerning how creative arts therapists might engage with and support this important recent translational research work.

School of Pharmacy Celebrates Students, Faculty at Annual Awards Ceremony

BALTIMORE – Notre Dame of Maryland University’s School of Pharmacy hosted its annual Scholarship and Teacher of the Year Awards Ceremony in LeClerc Theatre on Tuesday, with several students and one standout faculty member recognized by their peers.

Dr. Amie Hall, assistant professor of clinical and administrative sciences, was honored as the school’s Teacher of the Year, while 13 students were awarded scholarships in recognition of their outstanding academic accomplishments.

Join the Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society near the the Loyola Notre Dame Library walkway, where a dedication tree will be planted this weekend for Dr. Paul Weldon. Tri-Beta will place rocks and a plaque around the space to honor Dr. Weldon and his dedication to NDMU and the field of Biology. Notre Dame's 2007 Mullan Distinguished Teacher Award winner, Dr. Weldon was a distinguished faculty member in NDMU's Biology department for over 25 years.

Come join the Hispanic Culture Club for Botana Night! Attendees will be able to create different snack combinations using a variety of Hispanic snacks.

Enjoy a firepit and s’mores, and hear about how some of your faculty grew up and got to their current roles!
