I'm coming from out of state, do you have any helpful travel advice?
Notre Dame of Maryland University is closest to BWI Airport if arriving by plane, and Baltimore Penn Station if arriving by train. The University does not provide shuttles from either location to campus. We recommend renting a car, using a rideshare program (Uber, Lyft, etc.), or using public transportation. The MTA's trip planner is a great resource for finding public transportation to get you around the city.
We have set up registration as an a la carte menu to accommodate all budgets. We offer no-cost events and paid events. There is also a $10 early bird registration fee, which increases to $15 on August 25. The ticket costs help subsidize Alumnae and Alumni Weekend expenses, including event rentals, refreshments, and event supplies.
Who can come to Alumnae and Alumni Weekend?
Everyone! We invite all of our alumni and their guests! While we do not have family-focused programming available, families are also welcome.
When does registration for Alumnae and Alumni Weekend end?
Early bird registration has been extended and will end on Friday, August 25, but the deadline to register is Sunday, September 17, at midnight. To ensure we provide the best event experience, we discourage walk-in registrations. If you miss the deadline but would still like to attend, please email email@example.com or call 410-532-3166, and someone from the Alumnae & Alumni Engagement Team can assist you.
Can I cancel my registration?
You may cancel your registration for a full refund until Friday, September 1.
However, if NDMU makes any changes to the event time or date, and you cannot attend due to that change, we will provide you a full refund regardless of the date.
Where do we check-in?
Upon arrival, you must check in with the Alumnae and Alumni Engagement Team before attending any events. Check-in on Friday and Saturday will be outside in the tent on Doyle Lawn. On Sunday, check in will take place at the brunch.
What will be the parking situation on campus?
You may park in any spot on campus that is not designated for our VIPs, vendors, or those with accessibility needs. If you are a VIP, you will receive a special parking pass to access a reserved spot. If you require an accessibility parking pass, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 410-532-3166, and someone from the Alumnae & Alumni Engagement Team can assist you.
Where should I go if I need to relax during Alumnae and Alumni Weekend?
If you need to stop and relax at any point during the weekend, there will be tables and chairs set up inside Doyle Formal. The room will be open to you during the entirety of Alumnae and Alumni Weekend. You will be allowed to use this space to store any belongings, but know that the Alumnae and Alumni Engagement Team is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. There are bathrooms on the first floor down the hall that will be open during the weekend as well. Note: You will not be able to go to the second floor and above in Doyle Hall.
