
Graduates of this program have a comprehensive foundation in designing, implementing and managing integrative health programs using health behavior change and positive lifestyle choices for specific populations in the community, workplace, schools, and universities, and the healthcare environment. Students can select one of two areas of concentration – community health education and workplace wellness. Graduates are eligible to take the national Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam.

Graduates of this program are prepared to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate workplace wellness programs in a multitude of employment settings. Notre Dame of Maryland University's School of Integrative Health's (NDMU SOIH) program is the only graduate workplace wellness program with an integrative health focus. The courses in this program can be used for beginning preparation for the national Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam.
