NDMU offers Maryland's first bachelor's and master's degree programs in art therapy which prepares people to become licensed art therapists. The Art Therapy Department hosts Art Hives, a community-building, public practice art therapy that welcomes everyone, with events held in locations around Baltimore and on campus. Notre Dame of Maryland University in North Baltimore continues to find innovative and collaborative ways to help address workforce shortages.
This time, NDMU is collaborating with Milwaukee’s Mount Mary University to address staffing shortages in education and social work, with a joint agreement to increase the number of students with advanced degrees.
