(BALTIMORE, Md.) – Despite facing unprecedented challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Notre Dame of Maryland University graduate was named the state’s Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year by the Maryland Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP). 

(BALTIMORE, Md.) – With the recent launches of two commercial spaceflights and increasing interest in space tourism, about 20 local elementary and middle school children are getting an interactive education in space exploration at a weeklong STEM Camp at Notre Dame of Maryland University. The annual program returned to the campus after the COVID-19 pandemic forced its cancellation in 2020.

(BALTIMORE, Md.) – The Loyola Notre Dame Library, which provides information services and resources to Notre Dame of Maryland University and Loyola University Maryland, named Mary Catherine “Katy” O’Neill as director. O’Neill, who was unanimously appointed by the library’s board of trustees, will begin in the role on Oct. 1. 
 

(BALTIMORE, Md.) – A recent trip to Oregon Ridge Park was much more than a nature hike for about 15 Notre Dame of Maryland University students in a course focused on the Chesapeake Bay, the nation’s largest estuary. It was a hands-on lesson to understand how the health of the bay and its tributaries impact the plants and animals that live in the environment.
