The official transcript contains identifying information, a complete record of all coursework, transfer credits, academic status and any degree(s) or certificate(s) granted. The transcript is kept as a permanent record of the University.

 

The official academic records of all students, past and present, are housed in the registrar's office.

Request Your Transcript

You may only request a copy of your Notre Dame transcript. Transcripts from other institutions, although part of your permanent Notre Dame record, must be obtained from the previous school attended.

Eligibility

You are only eligible to receive a transcript if all financial obligations have been fulfilled. If you believe that you may have an unresolved balance, please contact the Business Office directly.

All transcript requests must be made online; requests are no longer processed in the Registrar’s Office.

ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS

Create an account through Parchment Exchange, where you’ll be guided through the transcript process. Be sure to save your login information for future requests. Click here to access PARCHMENT.

TRANSCRIPT TYPE AND FEES

Electronic transcripts are considered as official as long as the document has not been altered, be sure to confirm with your receipt that they accept this format before ordering. This process can take at least 24 hours depending on the time that your order was placed through the Parchment system.

Note: Students who attended prior to 1985 please allow at least 7-10 business days for processing so that your record can be obtained from the archives and prepared for release.

Cost: $10.00

Paper transcripts are considered official only as long as it remains in a sealed envelope. Do not open the sealed envelope if you are forwarding the document to another party. This process can take up to 7-10 business days to receive.

Does the registrar office process transcript requests?

The Registrar Office will no longer process transcript requests. All requests must be made through Parchment.

Can I request to pick up my transcript from NDMU?

No. All transcripts are processed through Parchment; requested electronically or to be mailed.

How do I pay for transcripts and what is the cost?

Payments are processed directly through parchment. Electronic, and mailed requests cost $10.00 (+shipping)

What is the turn-around time once I’ve requested a transcript?

What if I forget my Parchment login/password information?

You must visit the Parchment website and select sign in as a learner or parent. From there you may select forgot password.
