It's one of the most magical places on earth, a place “where dreams come true.” For one Notre Dame of Maryland University graduate, the communications skills she learned in class helped bring her dream to life through the magic of the Disney College Program.

More than 1,100 young women, all civilian volunteers, flew almost every type of military aircraft during World War II - including the B-26 and B-29 bombers. These women were part of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP), and this April their story is flying into to Notre Dame's Copeland Theatre as Meredith Dayna Levy’s Decision Height takes center stage.​

Radio silence is over for NDMU. The University’s Communication Arts department is reviving NDMU Radio and the days of cassette tapes and compact discs, as well as call letters and over the air tuners are over. Programming is now online and streaming.

For Victoria Cox, that opportunity was part of a study abroad program that gave her the chance to immerse herself in another culture, and create experiences that she hopes will enhance her studies and future career.
