Un hogar lejos de casa: los estudiantes puertorriqueños se destacan en la escuela de Farmacia de NDMU

BALTIMORE – Hay aproximadamente 1,500 millas entre Puerto Rico y el campus de la Universidad de Notre Dame de Maryland. Pero a pesar de esa distancia, los puertorriqueños actualmente conforman entre el 15 y el 20 por ciento de los estudiantes de la Escuela de Farmacia de NDMU. Este sorprendente número se debe a que un grupo de profesores y otros miembros del personal de la universidad, ayudaron a generar una conexión personalizada con la pequeña isla del Caribe que sigue creciendo con fuerza cada año.

School of Education Supporting Student, Teacher Flourishing at Eight Local Schools


BALTIMORE – Notre Dame of Maryland University’s School of Education is playing a prominent role in addressing mental health challenges at eight schools within the Anne Arundel County Public School system, with faculty members leading Student and Teacher Alliance for Flourishing initiatives through funding provided by the U.S. Department of Education’s Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund.

Join the Hispanic Culture Club, WEvolve, and the Office of Student Engagement for a winter festive celebration! There will be food, games, and a gingerbread house-making contest.

Come be a Morrissy Honors student for the day! You will meet the director of the program and spend the day shadowing an honors student. Some highlights will include sitting in on an honors class, having lunch with NDMU honors students, taking a tour of campus and learning about the exciting honors program at NDMU!
