BALTIMORE – Toni Bower ’82 remembers the support she received from the campus community during home softball games. Whether it was watching entire games or simply catching a few innings after class, the backing from her fellow students was always noticed.

(BALTIMORE, Md.) – Maryland’s first lady Yumi Hogan visited Notre Dame of Maryland University this week to salute nine master’s in art therapy degree candidates presenting their thesis projects in the state’s only graduate program preparing students to become professional art therapists. 
 

BALTIMORE – Oumou Sall ’22 was already prepared to enter into a career of service, determining in high school that she wanted to work as a nurse. During her second year at Notre Dame of Maryland University, she took that service commitment to a new level with the decision to enroll in the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program hosted at the neighboring campus of Loyola University Maryland.

(BALTIMORE, Md.) – A book detailing Notre Dame of Maryland University’s first 100 years won the 2022 Distinguished Book Award at the Conference on the History of Women Religious last month.

BALTIMORE – Khamaree Owens, a 2020 graduate who majored in art at Notre Dame of Maryland University, recently had her photography featured on Oprah Daily, a website founded by Oprah Winfrey which reaches an estimated 5.2 million unique viewers monthly.
