Women of the World (WOW) Festival Baltimore 2025 Recap & Video

Thank you to all who attended the WOW Festival Baltimore 2025, which brought together hundreds of people to celebrate the achievements of women and girls, while addressing the challenges they face. Our spotlight speaker, three-time Olympic gymnast Dominique Dawes, speaking with Denise Koch, WJZ CBS News Baltimore anchor, shared insights on resilience, overcoming challenges, and pushing beyond boundaries in every aspect of life. 2025 Commencement Ceremony

The Commencement Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Baltimore Convention Center, beginning promptly at 10:30 a.m. with the procession.

Academic Regalia

To participate in the Commencement ceremony, the proper regalia is required, which consists of an NDMU cap, gown, tassel, and hood. Graduates should place their order as soon as possible, as you must allow three weeks for shipping and receipt of regalia.

Apply for Graduation

All students expecting to graduate must apply for graduation in order to have their degrees conferred. The conferral of degrees happens on a schedule based on your official completion date: August 31, December 31, or May 31.
